Grand Gift Set Impériale
The complete Impériale ritual, arranged as a symmetrical three-piece presentation in ivory satin.
The presentation
The Grand Gift Set Impériale brings together one Eau de Cologne Impériale flacon and two Savon de Luxe cartons in a deep blue presentation box. Each piece carries the same crowned cartouche, gold botanical scrollwork and exhibition medallions, creating a single formal composition when the lid is opened.
Ivory satin frames the clear glass flacon at the centre, with soap placed evenly on either side. The generous box turns the familiar cologne-and-soap pairing into a ceremonial gift while keeping every element recognisably part of the Impériale family.
Historical context
Boldoot grew from an Amsterdam pharmacy founded in 1789 into a house known for cologne, soaps and perfumed toilet preparations. Presenting related preparations together followed naturally from that broad household range.
The printed exhibition cities and dates recall the international exhibitions through which Boldoot promoted its name in the nineteenth century. The crown reflects the house's historic standing as purveyor to several European courts.
