The presentation
The Delft Blue Collection gathers eau de cologne, hand wash, shower gel, body lotion and a wrapped soap into one coordinated family. A tall presentation tin completes the range and gives the clear glass cologne flacon a ceremonial place at its centre.
Its ivory ground and Delft-blue arabesques offer a lighter counterpoint to the deep blue Impériale line. Gold edging, small floral details and the crowned Boldoot cartouche keep every format recognisably part of the house.
Historical context
Dressed in the Delft blue long associated with Dutch craft, the Delft Blue Collection connects the house to the city where Jacobus Cornelis Boldoot opened his pharmacy in 1789.
The range translates Boldoot's long tradition of cologne, soap and perfumed toilet preparations into a unified contemporary presentation. Its historical connection is the house and its city; the collection itself is a new expression.
